Watermelon

I grew this in the backyard. Then Elaine cut it up, I took pictures and about 3 bites, and then we left it in the fridge for weeks and wound up throwing it out. Lesson: grow things you would normally eat. It was pretty, though.

    It is a magnificent watermelon, Old MacDonald. And a nice photo, too.

    Mmmm . . . I signed up for one of those things where they deliver gorgeous organic produce to your door. So far, some of it has been composted, a lot of it has been eaten, and almost all of it has been photographed. Vegetable glamour shots. Yum.
